Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 470, Oregon City, OR

We meet at the Prince of Life Church in Oregon City on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30. We have den meetings almost every week, and every month we have our monthly pack meeting. Our pack tries to go camping at least twice a year whether it is going to Butte Creek Scout Ranch for the weekend or just camping in the woods. Our pack has lots of fun wherever we go!

Why We Scout

Pack 470 is dedicated to making new friends and having as much fun as possible, while learning new skills like tying knots, hiking, pocket knives, and pitching a tent.  We instill the points of the Scout Law: Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.

Who We Are

We were the first pack in Oregon City! We have a goal of going on 2 or more campouts a year, with hikes during the spring and the fall. Othe events include pinewood derby, rain gutter regatta, scouting for food, swimming pool, Winterhawks hockey game, and fire station visits.

Summer Camps

Our Webelos and AOL scouts attend Camp Baldwin, east of Mt Hood, and our other scouts attend Butte Creek Scout Ranch, about 45 minutes south.  Activities at both camps include horseback riding, BB guns, archery, fishing, cooking, and crafts.
